Hello all, Just another update for all those who live or work in my wards on what I have been up to over the last week or so since my previous update. In my previous update, I detailed the arrest of a male who had allegedly stolen £110 of goods from a nearby shop. Two days after that update, I stopped this same male and he was once again arrested for shoplifting offences with stlen goods located in his bag. Following some research and enquiries, he was also linked to a second incident the same day and was remanded to court by our investigation teams. Shoplifting incidents have a real impact on staff who are just trying to do their jobs, not to mention it can make shops unpleasant for law-abiding customers, so I am committed to doing what I can to target those who commit these offences in my wards.I have been patrolling Cliffsend, Manston and other rural areas following recent reports of ASB.I have made visits to various partner agencies to share information on recent incidents, and to gain a better understanding of the issues so that I can plan enforcement accordingly.I held a police surgery in Minster recently, during which I responded to a report of a trespasser on the tracks at the train station (happily no persons were harmed), checked in on local businesses, and spoke to residents. I will be publishing some new surgery dates shortly so watch this space. As always, I try to offer a range of dates, times and locations throughout the year.During foot patrols, my colleague and I conducted stop searches on two juveniles who had just been reported stealing from a local store. Stolen goods were recovered and both were issued out of court disposals and their parents informed.Whilst patrolling today, I have arrested a male on suspicion of theft offences. Following this, my colleague and I carried out arrest enquiries in relation to domestic offences. We were able to find the suspect and take them into custody and safeguard the victim. As always, please do feel free to get in touch with me if you have any issues or concerns. If you know anyone who you think might benefit from getting these updates on My Community Voice, please send them an invite! Warm regards
